Join the teaching community
Continuing education courses are offered from time to time by ATI-LA’s faculty and Board Members. Weekend workshops are offered from time to time by guest teachers from other areas sponsored by ATI-LA. Workshop experiences vary from half a day to a weekend.
Who can take part?
Any certified teacher of the Alexander Technique is welcome to participate in workshops sponsored by the ATI-LA. Sometimes workshops are available to trainees or the general public.
Topics have included:
Basic AT procedures; working with actors, singers, musicians; working with people in pain; application of AT to daily activities such as computer and desk work; building a practice; discussions of writings on the Technique and related material; viewing and discussion of videos of master teachers.
